NEW GAME DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
You can find out all of these regulations below, and they can be updated. You'll be notified whenever we change this policy.
Towns MUST follow these rules:
You must follow all rules stated in our Terms and Conditions. If you violate this, your rules won't be enforced.
You can't claim areas that aren't yours - You need to have built in or outlined your area using blocks.
People must be able to cross your land peacefully.
You can't claim the entirety of one single biome.
Your rules will only be applied in the areas that you've claimed. If your town has expanded outside of your borders, send a message in your rules channel and specify your proposed new borders.
Towns cover all land down to Y-level 0. Anything under this is public space.
Towns can only be made on the main Reality Z139 Island.
Nothing's always smooth sailing. We have our own regulation for when a town wants to declare conflict on another. You can see details on all this below.
*Note that town conflicts ONLY happen if BOTH towns formally declare conflict on each other.
What happens in a Town Conflict?
When 2 towns formally declare a conflict, all rules in both towns concerning PvP and Griefing are scrapped.
This means that the 2 towns in conflict will be allowed to break each other's rules, but they can't steal loot or take your belongings.
Town conflicts will continue until one/both town(s) settles their conflict.
How do I declare an official Conflict?
Send a message in #general, pinging all members of the opposing town. State that you are declaring a conflict.
If you don't get a response, or the other town doesn't comply, you can't attack them.
If you get a response, and the other town also declares conflict, all rules in both towns (regarding PvP and Griefing) are not enforced and won't be bannable.
The scrapping of town rules only occurs between the 2 towns that have declared conflict with each other. All other members not involved must continue to follow their rules.
If 2 towns are in a conflict, and one is at a clear disadvantage, the town leader can resign or flee their land. If this happens, the other town in question will be able to fully take over their claimed land - taking anything that is left after the takeover is declared.
Once a town takeover is officially recognised, the owned land will transition to become a breakaway state of the winning town. Their rules will take effect, and the town owner of the losing town will be kicked off of their land (after taking any resources prior to the declaration of the town takeover).
*Note that town conflicts ONLY happen if BOTH towns formally declare conflict with each other, so town takeovers can't happen unless 2 towns declare conflict. This legislation does not affect the status of current towns and if you don't want to get involved in conflict, you don't have to.
